The Mental PowerBar measures your mental clarity, problem-solving ability, and mental presence. Mental energy tends to be valued the most within the workplace and often in society. This energy provides us with the planning, goal-settings, structure, order, and achievements, as well as solutions.
When our mental energy is low, we may experience reactive, jumping thoughts or become indecisive and unfocused. We may struggle to commit to a decision or task without getting distracted.
However, once our Mental PowerBar is high, we showcase order, provide solutions, act analytical and decisive. This allows us to seize new opportunities, and claim success!
Boost your Mental PowerBar to the next limits by:
• Surrounding yourself with stimulating people
• Think optimistically and take action!
• Make a list, and plan in a realistic way. This includes both large and little items. Identify the first steps for the big stuff.
• Be curious about the world around you and the people in it.
• Allow your mind to roam and discover new things. Live and be in the moment, as well as focused on the work at hand.
The Physical PowerBar
The Physical PowerBar focuses on how we feel within our physical body rather than our mental state. It is all about your physical infrastructure and feeling your body's power. This PowerBar enables us to wonder; Do I feel well most of the time? How effective is my entire body system? Does my digestion perform well?
Feeling healthy, nourished and strong are great indicators of a high PowerBar. This is great for improving individuals’ quality of life. It stimulates balance and harmony within one’s self. However, once our physical energy decreases, we may feel exhausted, unfit, and weak which results to a low Physical PowerBar!
All of the energies interact, and a lack of emotional, spirit, or mental energy can lead to a lack of physical vitality.
Bolster your physical energy by:
- Keeping hydrated!
- Drink plenty of water, or hot water with lemon, or even herbal tea on a regular basis to prevent dehydration.
- Rejuvenate, wind down, and relax those physical muscles by gaining 7-8 hours of sleep.
Get out there and exercise, eat your greens, explore your outdoor surroundings, and push that Physical PowerBar to a higher level!
The Spirit PowerBar
As human beings we undergo an array of physical, mental, and social issues, which lead us experiencing various highs and lows on a daily basis. This goes the same for our spirts. When we enjoy what we do or feel valued, e.g. within the workplace, this boosts this PowerBar. We evoke passion, enthusiasm, and hope.
However, when we feel disappointed, disconnected, or useless this can lead to a low Spirt Powerbar. This is commonly due to feeling underappreciated in our jobs, not enjoying our roles at work, and spending a lot of time with people who drain our spirit energy.

The Emotional PowerBar
Emotional energy is about being rather than doing. It like a still pool, clear and transparent. This energy is unique and differs from the other energies. When our Emotional energy is at its highest peak, it is almost invisible, and we are more likely to be compassionate, appreciative, calm, and cooperative. If you feel impatient, irritable, anxious, and insecure, this is a sign of low Emotional PowerBar. When people spend time criticising and judging others, it indicates that this energy is depleted.
To avoid emotional exhaustion, nudge your Emotional PowerBar to go further by:
- Demonstrating acts of gratitude by telling yourself what you are grateful for at the beginning and/or end of each day.
This is a fantastic technique in enhancing your Emotional PowerBar as it can help you in cultivating an optimistic perspective on life.
- Listen to the gratitude and take a moment to connect with the emotion it evokes in you - accept the sensation and notice how your PowerBar rises.
